Acclaimed children's author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his UK book publisher, according to an announcement.
A representative for the company stated: "Upon deliberation, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was taken subsequent to an review of allegations of questionable actions towards young women.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, noting: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, having sold in excess of 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles combined, which features a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.
He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
The publisher's decision comes after the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
